Our 1:1 School-Base Support Services program is designed to increase communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, role-play skills, and motor skills as well as decrease problem behaviors. We build on each student’s interests and strengths using structured and natural opportunities to facilitate learning and developing objectives to help decrease identified behavioral opportunities. A 1:1 School-Base Support Staff works with assigned students to encourage positive behavior skills that are useful in their academic setting and everyday life, with positive reinforcement and a goal-focused approach that meets the unique needs of each student. At its core, our 1:1 School-Base Support Services program helps students function more effectively in the classroom and in everyday life.
